Gaming
It’s only fair, perhaps, that as technology has helped us work harder, faster and more efficiently, wherever we happen to be and wherever our clients happen to be based, that we also use this technology for fun as well. Computer gaming has been popular since the very earliest days of computer technology in the home, and today games provide either blisteringly fast, photo realistic 3D environments which take the gamer on fantastic journeys into highly realistic gaming worlds, or portable games that we can carry in our pocket.
With portable games consoles and even games on our mobile phones we can take advantage of our technological world, whether it be playing a discrete game of Tetris at the back of a boring meeting, or exercising our brains with a quick round of Sudoku or other brain game, we can enjoy the fruits of technological development anywhere, anytime.
With increased networking capability, wireless networking, mobile communication and other data sharing technologies, we have managed to combine portability with sociability, able to play against friends wherever we happen to be. Of course, competing for the high score on Snake with your colleagues along the back row of a health and safety meeting is not to be advised!
